  1. My 8 year old wanted a horse game and so we bought the I Love Horses DS game without much thought. Fortunately, we bought it used and were able to return it, she was bored by it within the first 15 minutes. We did a little research through Amazon and settled on Horse Life Adventure. She LOVES this game! I have had to limit her time playing or that’s all she would be doing. She has told me several times how much she loves the game and thinks it is the best ever! Within a few minutes her horse already had a baby foal and it was one good thing after another from then on. I can’t speak for some of the other horse games that look good (Ener-G, Championship Pony, and Petz) but I can pretty much guarantee that this one will satisfy!

  2. When i got this game i thought “what if it’s another one of those really boring games and ill just get tierd of playing it?” well guess what it was nothing like that! the game was awsom and im saying was becouse i just finished it. yea for me!!!!! its awsom you start out by creating your horses mother. then when she has her fool it looks egzacly like the mom. you name it and whait three years untill you start riding. but not in real life three years. a sighn will come up and say “Three Years Later” so its fast. it an awsom game. i cant tell you more becouse there are surprizes i dont want to ruin for you. if you are a smart person and buy this game………. YOUR IN FOR AN HORSE LIFE ADVENTURE!!!

  3. This is a great horse game. It’s got some difficulty level to it which makes it a great game for teens and young adults. I like how many different games and levels it has and I really like the fact that you can buy clothes and tack at the tack shop, too. If you are thinking of a horse game I say this is a great buy. Get it!

  4. My daughter wanted a horse game for her DS, so I read some reviews and decided on Horse Life Adventures. I’ve never actually played the game, but she plays it a lot and I’ve seen some of the activities while she plays. It looks very real – the graphics are great. It really looks like you’re riding through a beautiful trail and on occasion you have to use the stylus to jump, etc. She also likes grooming the horse and entering the competitions. My daughter is 11 years old, but I’d say it would be good for ages 7-adult.

  5. In this game, you create a horse. That horse is the mother of your new foal! Then you get to see the foal and name it. At first I was scared, because the markings on the foal weren’t the same as the mothers. Then suddenly it says “Three years later” and you can see your horse, now fully grown and with the same markings as the mother. I was dissapointed that it skiped three years, I didn’t get to see my horse grow up! But the game payed for that…

You can do lots of different things, going for rides is my favorite. You can also groom your horse, muck out the stall, train for competitions, visit them in the pasture, buy supplies at the tack shop, and once you unlock competitions, you get tired of the old stuff! Suprises come every second. At one point your horse starts acting up, don’t worry… you are doing nothing wrong! I’ll leave out why he is acting up, but believe me, it’s not good.

Once you unlock competitions, you want to do them constantly! Overall this game is fun and addicting, I can’t get enough! Defenitly 5 stars!
