Movies To Video Games Reviews Review #9 —This is a Fan Requested Review— True Lies for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself. Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are based on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score are as follows: Story Accuracy to the Movie 7.5 (Follows the moments of the movie well at some points but throws in a lot of stages and details that just weren’t in the movie and are inaccurate. Has cut scenes and graphics taken right from the movie which really made you feel you were reliving the movie) Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 3.0 (Not much to go on here. The music is very minor in the movie as well as in the game. There are stages that didn’t even have music in it. The movie itself didn’t have any music that stood out so this game has generic LJN/Acclaim type music instead.) Game Difficulty 6.0 (Gets harder as you venture through and have to deal with rows of bad guys at once. Some of the enemies are too hard to beat and others are simple. There are moments in this game that can be very frustarting. A continue option would have made this rating much better .) Overall Fun 7.5 (It has its moments. Shooting up bad guys and taking on whole armies by yourself is

  1. Also, when it comes to the soundtrack, there are usually those kind of issues with movie license games. Mostly because the record companies that own the rights have titanic logs up their arses.

  2. This is probably my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy. The games werent bad either. Especially for being made by LJN. But it was DAMN hard.

  3. dude if your going to do a movie game review touch briefly on the movie I am uninterested in you mundane knowledge of the movie or the actors in it. Also you ruined the movie for anyone who has come here and not seen it by giving the shorten summery of the movie. Your reviews suck

  4. I loved this game

  5. Best SNES game I’d ever played! and good movie too.

  10. Oh my god! A decent LJN game.

  11. that was the best action game that time for me…. i have ended this game it was preety tough…

  12. this game was fuckin sick!

  13. Well, yesterday I started playing this game again for the first time in like 15 years. I couldn’t even get past the docks, lol.

  14. This game was pretty cool for me when I first played it. For a SNES game it had quite a lot of blood, which was something you didn’t see very often on that console. It was pretty hard too, so I never beat it until I used cheats lol.

  15. best game i played…

  16. LOL

  17. Arnold schwartznigga :D

  18. I PREFER THE MEGADRIVE

  19. The music reminds me a bit of Shadowrun if anyone remembers that game

  20. I like how in your video you were standing there getting shot alot like a moron when you could have just used the strafe button and raped everything. I didn’t die on my first play through until the docks ffs.

  21. De nuevo, I really had a lot of fun playing this back in the day. Without cheating, I could only make it as far as the train station. I’d really like to play it again really…..

  22. indeed, everyone who complains about the controls don’t know that

  23. This game just looks like an SNES version of the NES Die Hard game.

  24. WOW you know i saw True Lies years ago and thought it was decent. But know hearing you talking about it i just find the Movie ridiculously stupid. I dunno what made me think of that maybe your monotone talking or the stupid storyline with those Awful scenes. I am not bashing you or something i am just honest hope you don`t mind that. I remember playing this Game a long time ago and back then this game deserved a 6/10 so on that i agree with you. But for today stand. i would give it atmost a 5/10

  25. The gameplay reminds me of “Predator 2″ for Genesis, what with the semi-overhead view and blasting the grunts

  26. last sega game i played before i got N64
